First off, has the fishing started to pick up at Bear Lake??
Second, Does anyone know when the DWR is going to stock those little cutts? It seems like it was around this time last year.
Thanks.

A couple of guys from the site were there a week ago and had no luck at all but you could send a PM to one of the guys that live up there for more up to date info. Can't help you with the stockings except to say, go the the DWR site and you can find the lastest stocking reports. WH2

Ok, I just looked up the stocking report from last year and the cutts were planted from 4/26- 5/03 last year. It seems to me that this was just before or just after the cutts spawn.
If the weather stays good I might give it a shot next weekend.

Two of us fished there last week. Yes the fishing is slow. We caught 8 fish trolling. Biggest 12lbs. We usually catch more than that.

I have been working a ton of hours lately so no reports! [

] I am headed up this Friday for the weekend.
I plan to hit her hard this Saturday and Sunday and will post the results. I hope to be able to launch my tin can from the beach so I can get onto the rock pile for some jigging. If that is not feasible then I plan to launch on the East shore and troll/jig from cisco south to the pump house. I will question my local friends about stocking. I Also believe that the sculpin are in and the big bruisers may be shallow feeding on them.
