My brother and I went to Willard bay yesterday morning. We got there about 8:30 and fished the shore on the west side. We tried worms and cranks and a few jigs. We didn't get any hits, and got tired of fighting the wind, so we drove back to the south side. No luck there either. It looks like about 4 more vertical feet and the lake will be full, which is good new.

After getting skunked at Willard, we decided to take a drive to Lost Creek, thinking we could find somewhere out of the wind. We fished near the boat ramp, and I caught a 12" rainbow on a spinner, but that was it. We tried near the dam for a while, but no luck.

It looks like they're planning on collecting entrance fees at Lost Creek this year. The water level doesn't seem to have come up at all, but they were releasing quite a bit, so I guess they're anticipating a good runoff.

The Weeb is running high and muddy.

Is the ice off lost creek?

Could you launch a boat Yet?

Thanks

There was no ice, but there was a lot of debris floating around near the boat ramp. It probably won't interfere with boating, but I had to clean off my spinner after nearly every cast.

I didn't pay any attention to the launch conditions, but if you could launch your boat last fall, I'm sure you can still do it.

Mateo, I just watched the "Lake Update" on the Doug Miller site. They said that Lost Creek will probably be the only res in the Weber River drainage that will not fill this year. I sure hope that it comes darn close though. Jake
