Please keep us posted on your Pineview reports. I just moved up to Eden, and live only 5 minutes from the lake. I suppose Pineview will now become my 'home' water by default, and I need to figure out the best ways and places to kook up with the bass in there. I used to fish it as a boy 30 years ago and caught many rainbow trout, back when it was basically managed as a trout fishery. I'm excited to give it a try again for the warm water species.

Whose dinner table did it end up on? [sly]

i think chicken legs (bearclaw) took it home and ate it.[Wink]

By the way how's the water level? Could be a great year for spawning crappie and perch with submerged brush, that is of course if it fills up. [crazy]

Hey jason,
Sharks are like dogs![Tongue] I owe ya one[blush][Tongue][Tongue]...

According to weber basin hydrologists, Pineview definitely will fill up, making way for excellent crappie spawning/fishing.

Yeah, that was me up there. I picked up one nice 16" smallie right out of the boat dock and another on the way back that was maybe 12". I floated almost to the end of the northwest bay along the west side and other than a few minutes of playing with some carp in submerged brush the only two bites I got all day were the two smallies, both came on curltail grubs. My fishfinder read the temp all the way up to 54 degrees by the time I left around 3:30. The wind picked up pretty heavy around 2:30 and made it a little interresting to get back in. Sure was exciting to finally get to see the infamous swamp yankee in person.
