Has anybody been up to Smith and Morehouse there lately. Is it still capped or is it open water. Does anyone know how the road up is. I was thinking about taking the kayak up for some slimer action. Any help would be great. Thanks.

About a week ago a friend and I tried to get up there, but the road is still snow packed with deep, deep snow right after the turn off to Thousand Peak Ranches. Ultimately we were unable reach the reservior.
