Well made out there about 4.There was a little wind but it was just perfect enough to make the eyes active.When i got to the shore there was a crap load of carp spawning! You couldnt throw a jig and not snag one!So i decided to throw minnows and not jig today.I ended up with a 21 inch eye and caught a bunch of mudcats.The cats ate all my minnows so i was left with worms .I had to leave at 6 pm so i can make my sons ball game at 7.On the way out i ran into princefisher and his 2 sons.They were fishing for crappies .It was good meeting him and his kids.Hopefully they got into some fish.

] I was out there from about 3:45 until 9:30 and I never saw you!! I ran into a spoke with Princefisher for a moment although I didn't realize who he was at the time.
I got a lot of little sissy bites out there but nobody was really serious about taking my bait. I ended up with 2 mud cats and a MONSTER carp hen chuck full of carp eggs. [

I got there about the same time.I fished at the end of the road were the boat ramp is.I was at the side where the boats come in .I was fishing next to group of spanish people.I walked around a bit and talked to some of the guys there.There was a gut there with a kid .He had a walleye and lost it at the shore. Then there was another guy there who had about a 4lb channel. There was also a couple of asian guys there jigging next to me.As i was leaving princefisher was just getting his poles in the water.What part did you fish?I was going to try the first springs but when i saw all those carp there i sais forget it!

[crazy] I even asked around a bit when I saw your car but people were starting to look at me funny so I quit asking.[] I drove out to the east end of the south dike, and surveyed the area. It look like I would crowd some folks if I tried to fish that area so we hiked out and fished the north dike for awhile. We were getting a little action but nothing serious other than the mother hen of all carp I managed to catch she had to be between 12-15lbs easy. After a lot of hits with no fish to show for it, we moved east of where Princefisher was and caught a few mud cats. [/#505000]

[size 1]I have fished the west side of Utah Lake when the carp have been thick. We were fishing from my boat, and we would cast up near the shore where there were carp everywhere, but we still caught lots of nice channel cats.[/size]

[#505000]I was the guy in the white Alero. I was wearing tan camo and my Punisher T-shirt. If it was your car it was parked near the end of the dike. I was near the white truck. I didn't stick around there long. There were some spots I could have fished, but I didn't want to crowd anyone, or be crowed myself for that matter. [cool][/#505000]

I dont rmember seeing the alero.I did see the white truck and it had problems starting up.There was also a green truck there too. I might be back at lincoln this saturday depending on the weather.Gonna head out to scofield for some trout action .My freind said it was red hot out there.Hopefully the weather is good in the morning.
