Fishing Forum

Took the family up to Causey this evening. We usually get up there once or twice each spring about this time. The weather was beautiful, but the fish catching left a lot to be desired. We had a couple of small hits, and that was it. The lake is full, and extremely murky all over. The creek at skullcrack is raging, so be careful if you go up there. Watched one guy catch a small splake, but that was it. It was a nice trip, and I think the kids had fun. Might try once more before the toon attack is on.

Thanks for posting your report TKB, too bad the catching wasn't better. A friend from work was fishing the area in the back where it forks and they had some good luck last week. They were in a canoe, so you should have better luck when you get out in your toon. Good luck. WH2
