[black]have his butt kicked! Where is all this rain we're supposed to have? I could of been out fishing today! AAARRRRGGGHHH![/black]

If you want to kick his butt you need to get in line. I've put off 3 trips to B.L. because of bad weather forcasts. Turns out the weather was better there than SLC. With all the scientific equipment they have available I would expect better than 10% accuracy.

You are so right my friend I was thinking the same thing. I guess I'm going to start making plans and see what the weather looks like when I get up. I don't need no stinking weather man for that.

It certainly is difficult to make plans in advance when we keep hearing that inclement weather is forecasted up to a week away. Don't these weatherman know that we have to request time off to go fishing during the week and with the cost of petro these days, one can't afford to make the drive to their favorite fishing hole only to turn around and go back home due to rain/wind. Oh well, they do get paid to dress up and look good in front of theire viewers...

[cool]Now if we could only get Vegas to carry a line on the weathermans predictions! We'd all be winning[
]. I guess its time to plan those fishing trips rain or shine!

Being a weather geek myself Ive learned not to trust any prediction more than 2-3 days out. Weather is mobile and changes constantly so I figure if I wait a while it will change. This time of year it is unusual to get widespread constant storms. Scattered stuff is most likely.

Just went home for lunch and caught the lastest weather forecast for tomorrow.
Tomorrow is supposed to be NICE - with just a few scattered showers in the morning. That big storm is heading north and as usual the weatherman has updated his forecast.
This was from channel 5 - so if you have a a favorite weather channel then go see what their forecasting for the morning.

I've taken to not even watching the weather on TV. I just look at the latest radar and sattelite and I decide if it looks like rain or not. I know they have a very tough job, predicting the future is hard. I do think they should trash the 5 day forcast and just do 3 days until they get better at it. I like the following site best:
www.wrh.noaa.gov/slc It lets you do a lot of the guesswork, or you can read the latest forcasts.
Hi guys! if I have time to go fishing I would rather go fishing on the day like today first of all not many people go when it is bad weather second from my experience is I catch more walleyes and wipers on the bad weather day than good weather day. So if you have time to go fishing then go don't worry about weather. When the weather like this the fish is more aggressive. Don't let bad weather stop you from fishing. Ask TubeDude he may agree with me

Never trust the weather people they lie! They are PETA people undercover![

[black]Actually, I used yesterday to get the boat registered, get a new annual park pass, went and had a new t-top cover ordered to replace the old shredded one for the boat and stopped by the machine shop that is fabbing a marine motor mount adapter plate for my brother's boat so I was plenty busy with "fishing" projects" and things I needed to do.[/black]

[black]Hey, what can I say? I'm not as tough as you, stud. I'm a fair weather kind of guy who doesn't like fishing in the cold, wind, or rain![/black]
