So what ways have others caught BIG Browns in Lake X?????

As alot of you know Browns are meat eaters. They are predators and in order to catch them you have to present the prey...

Here have been some ways I have caught big browns at lake X
1) Trolling small rapalas from deep to shallow off points - Summer
2) Long lining small glass Rapalas in Dec. (ask FFM & Uncle Ray)
3) Planner Boards running the shoreline with Rapalas in Spring.

One method that took me a few seasons to master and has brought me lots of B's in the 25" to 30" range is..... night crawlers fished during the high muddy run-off - OH that should be starting in the next few weeks at lake X. I won't give you all the fine details but I will say to fish them just like steelhead. Bounce the bottom.

Browns will only consistantly eat crawlers during high dirty water run-off conditions.

I know the gillnet picture of the large hen will generate some interest in harvesting a large Browns. If you are going to fish high water condition have your stuff together or your stuff will be on the bottom.

Attached is a picture of what might happen if things go a-stray..

Keep it safe on the H2O.

BIG spoons on downriggers.
On rivers rapalas rule for browns, on lakes I've caughten them on jigs fishing for walleye. I've caughten some hugs in a couple of ponds in the uinta basin. I will post a pic of one I caught a week ago up there, my camera still has some pictures left to take so it will be a little while still. later chuck
