Well got there about 845am to my favorite spot.Took some freinds that just moved here from arizona. I needed some minnows so i threw my trap out and my crawdad trap too.I loaded up with 6 bags of minnows .And at $2.50 a bag of 6 from sportsmans i saved a lot of money.Well i started out with my usual spoons!I started out with my red and white one and man i coldnt keep them off it and on !I would get slammed about every 3 casts and kept loosing the fish.I got 12 hits the first 45 minutes i was there. Then tragedy struck i snagged my spoon![pirate] And i lost it.After that i couldnt find any spoon that they liked.Red was the color of the day .They would hit about 15 feet from the shore.Thats were the minnows were hanging out at.I ended up with 2 nice bows.My freinds ended up catching 2 cutts and about a dozen bows. They kept 2 of the bigger ones and released the rest.Salmon eggs were doing the trick for them. The wind was kinda bad also and it was a little overcast.I talked to a guy there and he had been fishing all morning and only had 1 fish .I didnt see other people catching any fish and very few boats out there too.
