I've been going to Blue several times now and always keep a few for dinner. Just wondering, it's really close to the Nevada mining stuff and starting to get concerned about gold mining, etc. and mecury down wind problems. Any comments? Obviously there are state wide concerns but Blue is close!?[

Leaky
I'd feel safe in eating fish there. I've been a test dummy for as long as I can remember. I bet a quarter of all the fish I've eaten have come from there, and I'm not sick(yet). Who knows, though.

If your talking about blue lake by Twin Falls Idaho I haven't heard of any problems with the mercury levels there. Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir (S of Twin) has had some problems with mercury. From what I understand a handful of fish from Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir won't hurt the average person but women that are pregnant shouldn't eat them.

[cool]The Blue Lake that Leaky is referring to is about 30 miles outside of Wendover, NV.
