Has the water come up at Jordanelle yet? I want to hit Rock Cliffs, but don't want to hike down through the mud!

Thanks!

Just judging from the photos someone sent in over a month ago on the board, the pvc dock/ramp in rockcliff area has water. I inquired Richard Hepworth about whether it will get to full capacity two weeks ago as I was there and so was Bassrods on the same day for the gilnetting studies,
he said it will get to full capacity with the run-offs coming in at a high rate.

I imagine just from looking at Jordanelle at near capacity right now, Rockcliff's mud area should be under water now even though I have not been in that specific area recently. I would guess it would be three feet deep at least right now in the back bays.

D-mack and I were up there yesterday for a couple hours. The water is still around 20 feet down from the high water mark. I got skunked but he pulled out a 4-5 pound rainbow.

Fished Rock Cliffs for 3.5 hours this afternoon and didnt catch anything. Water level was exactly the same as it was in September or so. You wont have to hike through mud to get to the water, but the new ramp is completely dry still.
water temps are between 48-52 degrees. cloud cover has a way to drop temps after the suns warming. stained water is warmest. sporadic catching of smallies has accured. 6 lber was caught sunday.

Nate-dawg,

I went up today for a few. The water is rising! It's almost covering the peninsula! Anyways water temp is 50. A couple of more weeks and the bite should be constant!
