Drove up to Causey yesterday to take a look. Ice is gone and it is full to the brim. A ton of water is dumping over the spillway. But the entire lake looks like chocolate milk, same color as the streams flowing in. It was strange to see it like that, as it has always been crystal clear every time I've been there. I saw a few shore anglers, and a couple out for a paddle in their kayaks, but didn't see any fish landed. I think it needs some time to settle down before the fishing starts up.

Thanks for the Causey update. I'm sure it will be a few weeks before it is really fishable. It was just like you describe a couple weeks ago, and will all the snow still needing to come down, I'll bet it stays that way for a while.
