Monday was the first day out on the ocean finally![sly] Was a slow morning no wind flat seas thats horrible conditions.Finally the wind picked up and the bite was on an hour before we got off the water.Had one bite but it was a doozy!It about took my finger off because it caught me off guard.I was going after groupers and a big one came a calling!Just before my line hit the botom something hit and line peeled off and my finger got tangled inthe line man that hurt![pirate] Whatever it was got into the rocks an frayed my 80 lb line so when it finally came out it broke off.But it was just a warm up i guess.I fought the monster for about 5 minutes but that was enough to leave me hurting!Going out he rest of ths week hopefully i can pull one of these big boys up for some dinner
