hey jared, i noticed on the show saturday night that you guys use smelly jelly. what flavor/brand do you use for the kokes? i use anchovy for lakers, but dont usually use anything but night crawlers for the kokes.
im heading up thursday night and will be camping at antelope flats. should be a great trip!

just got back from the gorge,was fishing for kokes amd all i got was macks,oh well its all good,then my big motor went south on me .So it made for a short day on the water.

sorry about your motor. i know the feeling. i have had a lot of pretty good trips destroyed by motor trouble. fortunately things are going good for me this year! so, what were you using for these macs?

i was using green and red wedding rings ,behind green and red dodgers,with a 50/50 set -up.50 ft behind the weight,50 ft down.Was graphing lots of fish in this range,and was figureing that some had to be kokes.but all i was catching was macks.the biggest one might of went four lbs,but was still fun and better then catching nothing.
Good luck to anyone that will be on the gorge this weekend,as that place will be a zoo.

Actually I use Pro-cure scent's ...not to much smelly jelly. In the Pro-cure line I use "Kokanee special", Predator, Herring oil/Herring bait sauce. I hope this help's... look for me this weekend.

I am heading up to the Gorge on Saturday with my family. There will be about 10 of us all together. Should be a good time since none of us have ever fished the Gorge before. We are interested in trolling for some of the Macs as well as the Kokanee's but of course we will take anything that bites [
