[green]Water temperatures still not quite 60 degrees. Early morning air temps are in the low 40's to afternoon highs of about 75.

Last sat the 21st, there were islands south of the boat ramp and east of the pwc ramp, today they were all gone, Totally submerged. From my expert observations, I believe that the water levels have risen 25 feet in a week.

Where are the fishies? I've seen a few floating perchases. Alot of courting chubs. And, about two dozen smalljaws.

I heard of a 6 lber caught two weeks ago. Also, there is a rumor of a 7lber this week.

I can only catch 2-3lbers.

I almost pulled into Lake X today on my way to the Berry at 5;30am but my fear of skiers got the best of me .Good to see the water up . The Berry on the other hand has gone down 4' since the ice and there is tons of water dumping into the Berry , must be a big hole some where . Must be a June sucker thing going out the tunnel . Maniacs" worked good on big bow at the Berry today .

Too bad the big hens aren't up on the nests just yet. How was your trip down south?

We fished lake X on Saturday and caught close to 30 fish. Most of them were browns, some rainbows and one 13" smallmouth. One brown was 6 pounds, 25 inches long, the other was 4.25 pounds. We also caught 3 other browns in the 2-3 pound class, the rest were slightly smaller. Pictures are on the way, I just need to get my camera filled up.

Were did you guys find your browns? We caught a couple in the 5 pound class three weeks ago casting jigs and Maniacs. But we have'nt caught one since. Were you guys trolling? What time of the day? All we could catch last friday was those stinken small mouth.

We caught all of our fish from the main marina north, We caught the fish all over in the north end. We were trolling. We fished all day and caught fish all day long. I caught the two big fish within 30 minutes of each other. One was at 7:30 and the other was at 8:00 a.m. But we caught fish all day until about 4:00 then it slowed down. My bigger fish is at the taxidermist now, it's not huge but it was a beautiful brown.[] It will do for the wall until I catch a 10 pounder or better![] I'll post my pics as soon as I get them developed, keep your eyes open.[]
