I am curious who does professional depth/fish finder installs in the slc valley. I recently purchased a jet boat that I would like to get one installed on and need it to look pretty slick.

I would suggest getting a thru the hull transducer, then you won't even know it is there. They are expensive though.

You might check with Danzilla. He installed mine for me

If you are even slightly handy then you can do it yourself. The instruction guides that come with them make it almost impossible to do wrong. I have installed hundreds of units on boats of various types and feel that the hardest parts involved are choosing the right location for viewing the screen, hiding the wiring, and proper transducer mounting. The rest is almost plug and play.

I would be glad to take a look at it and offer some suggestions for you. Send me a PM and I will give you my address. You could bring it by and we could discuss some different options. You could then ask for more opinions and come up with a game plan that meets your needs.

I'll try to post up some pics of the install I did on my boat tonight. I mounted a thick plastic plate on the hull first with marine adhesive and only 2 screws thru the hull. With it I can put up to 3 sensors without drilling into the hul and move or change transducers without drilling the hull.
There is also a little cover plate you buy for where the wires go thru the hull. A package of plastic cable ties and your at the front of the boat.
There were not many places to put the screen on my boat either (it's a ski boat not a fishing boat) and again I wanted to drill a minimum of holes so I removed one of the cup holders and placed it there.
