I'm stuck working in Af for the rest of the week so I thought Id give the big dirty a try, I'll be honest, I have not really fished it. Once I drove down and looked at it, and drove right off. In any case I am a avid walleye fisher, but walleye in deep clear lakes with alot of under water cover has been the norm for me. Can someone help me in a direction? A dirty fish is better than no fish.

The color of the water in Utah Lake is deceiving. It is actually just as clean as those other clearer waters such as Deer Creek or others. It is merely mud-stained. Utah Lake offers excellent fishing from the shore and a boat, for largemouth bass, white bass, channel cats, bullhead cats, walleye, bluegill and crappie, an occasional yellow perch and of course carp as well. Don't knock it till you've tried it. [cool][sly]
In AF harbor, try fishing in the evening off the rocks, inside or outside the harbor. Use carp meat or frozen minnows. If you got access to a boat, you got lots more opportunities to try. The white bass should be spawning about now if you can find schools of them. The largemouth hold very tight to shore against the rocks. The cats are just about anywhere. Have fun.

If I bring my boat, where do you suggest?

THE EYES IN UTAH LAKE HIT WAY DIFFERNT THAN THE ONES YOU ARE USE TO. THEY TEND TO INHALE THE JIG WITH A SMACK OR WILL STOP IT DEAD AS YOU REAL. ALSO ALOT OF BAIT GUYS ARE DOING GOOD WITH SHINERS. TROLLING THIN FINS IS ALSO GOOD OUT TO LINCON. IF YOU NEED MOORE INFO PM ME. GOOD LUCK.

[cool] Does anyone have a map of Utah Lake? I've never fished there but heading down there on Sunday (if the weather holds) for a go. Thanks

I heard today the road closed signs have been moved but the harbor is still closed. Here is a map as well.

I was there today, and the road is still washed out right at the entrance to the American Fork Harbor.

Thought that was you at Lindon. I waved but didn't get a response back so didn't know.
Fishing was aweful yesterday, the cold front must have messed with the kitties/eyes/bass. This warm up the next few days should trigger the fish again.

I saw a guy in a tube on the west side of Lindon Harbor in a tube and I asked him how fishing was as I motored by. He appeared to just ignore me. As I was getting my boat ready to head up the ramp. I thought I heard someone yell from the east shoreline. I looked over and there were a couple tubers on or near a dock. I couldn't tell if they had yelled at me or not. I will talk to anyone out on the water at any time, so if someone recognizes me and doesn't get a response, it was either because I didn't hear you, or thought the person was yelling at someone else. There were several cars parked near the stream that enters just north of Lindon Boat Harbor. I figured that they must be fishing the stream for spawning white bass.
