Thought I'd hit Willow early this morning before the rush hit. I figured with it being free fishing day and all they'd have it stocked. I got there about 6:00 and there was already about 30 people there. I left about 7:30 and it was turning into an absolute zoo by then. I'd venture a guess of well over 100 people. In that entire hour and a half, I saw two fish caught two small little planter bows. I don't know why I keep goin back to this place, I hear good reports they never turn into anything. If you fear for your life, I'd recommend not coming within a 5 mile radius of that place today.

Another day, another skunk. Oh well...

I hate Willow too. There are always dead fish all over the place and garbage that people don't pick up. About twice a year, I go there thinking I'll just catch a couple of planters and have fun, but I go and catch them, and the fish are nasty. They never have fins. They are half dead. I feel guilty releasing them. There are always people over their limit there. It's a crowded place, and if you are within 20 feet of people, they start staring and getting mad. I'm like "This pond is tiny. You don't own the place." I mean, you try to stay away from folks, but it's basically combat fishing there sometimes.
