I've too have been thinking about making a trip over there soon but no one has posted any reports recently. The catching is usually good this time of the year, so I'm sure you would do good if you have fished the lake before. The area near the inlet, which is above the bridge, that is where I have done the best early in summer or late in the spring. Good luck if you make over there and post a message when you get back so we can get an idea how the catching is. WH2

Try shooting Kayote a PM...he's usually pretty up to speed on the UB waters.

Sorry, I haven't been over in quite a while. The boat is still non-functional. The eye's are usually up and about this time of year. The Smallies are just about everywhere there is a rock. I've only caught Browns in the pre-dawn hours of the morning this time of year.
Standard Walleye and Bass patterns work pretty good. I downsize a bit so I can still limit, even if it is on 10" eye's. I like to play with the Bass, but I'm not much of a Bass eater, so I let em go except for a couple that my GF's dad requests.
Good luck, and let us know how you do if you make it out. Careful of the "W"! If you've been out before, you know it kicks up around 2:00 and just gets worse.
