I needed to blow off some steam after work tonight and took the tube out to the Lindon boat harbor. Got there about 4:30-4:45. I didn't feel like kicking out to the open water today, so I just fished the harbor. Fishing was initially slow but it picked up and I was able to catch a nice batch of white bass (1 crappie too) on jigs and spinners. Additionally, I scored a nice 21 inch channel cat on a roadrunner and worm as well. No walleyes. I only fished lures, I didn't try any "typical" cat baits. Water temp was 72 degrees. I was amazed at the boat traffic and the fishing pressure out there this evening for a weekday. I imagine that the fish get quite an "education" if it is like that every day. Tight lines.
