I needed to blow off some steam after work tonight and took the tube out to the Lindon boat harbor. Got there about 4:30-4:45. I didn't feel like kicking out to the open water today, so I just fished the harbor. Fishing was initially slow but it picked up and I was able to catch a nice batch of white bass (1 crappie too) on jigs and spinners. Additionally, I scored a nice 21 inch channel cat on a roadrunner and worm as well. No walleyes. I only fished lures, I didn't try any "typical" cat baits. Water temp was 72 degrees. I was amazed at the boat traffic and the fishing pressure out there this evening for a weekday. I imagine that the fish get quite an "education" if it is like that every day. Tight lines.

[cool]Thanks for the report, doggonefishin. Sounds like this warm weather is really activating the fishies, and that's great news! Lindon is usually pretty popular, but I think right now it's EXTRA popular with the AF boat harbor unaccesable thanks to the washed out road (maybe that's fixed now, but haven't heard if it is). Anytime fishing is better than being at work, but when the catchin' is good too, then it's DEFINITELY better than being at work. Congrats on a successful outing tonight.

A friend of mine headed for AF harbor yesterday and said the road is still not fixed.
