Took the kids and my sister in law Holly to Lindon this afternoon 4:30-8:30 we caught 6 total, 4 channel, and 2 mud. I Caught the first one after about 30 min it went 24". Then about 30 min latter came a double with Holly and myself, these two channels went 16" and 20". Trenton caught the last channel, it went 20" the biggest fish he has ever caught. We caught the two muds in between the third and fourth channel. We had a couple other nice fish on, one broke Trent's line he got so excited and gave it a little to much tension causing the line to break. The other one got my line caught in the rocks just off shore and snapped my line. We had a couple of other brief hookups but they didn't last to long. It was a great day fishing, my sister in law caught two on her first outing this year, and Trent caught the biggest fish of his life.

[cool]Yumm!!!!!!!!! Ain't nothin' like a nice catfish fry, eh clebreto? Looks like you were fishing right off the north dike of the harbor right into the creek inlet area, eh? It's funny that one week ago CBR and I were fishing right there, but into the harbor and didn't get one bite. It's amazing what an additional 20-30 in temp will do for the K bites. Looks like you were fishing off the bottom, but what was the bait of choice tonight?

Mikecromaine, his realtor, and I are gonna hit the lake Friday eve. Can't wait to get into the wiskerfish!

It was a secret combination of shrimp and worm.

Nice looking cats. Hope there are some willing cats at UL on Saturday when I get back down there. I am determined that this is the year that I catch a 10 pound or larger cat!

[cool]Cool! Thanks for sharing. That's actually my favorite K bait so far. Don't know why in the heck I haven't used it this year-guess 'cause I was also chasing walleye, and they don't seem to like the shrimp thing, but for right now, I'm hunting the K's strictly for the next month or two at UL. I think the Walleye become less active (at Utah Lake, anyway) as it gets into the full heat of the summer and the water temp gets close to 80, so I'll chase them again at UL in the fall as it cools down. Kitties, prepare for battle!!!!!!
