I will be heading towards the grandaddy lakes area in the uintas on the July 11th for a week. Taking some kids with me. Any info on that area yet? Snow conditions? Any info would be great. What are some of the better camping places in that area?

I just got back from echo lake which is about 10 miles northwest of Grandaddy. There was plenty of snow at the lake but not much on the way in. I think by July 11th most, if not all of the snow will be gone.
Jakes and Crocodile lures did me well in Grandaddy lake, and griffiths gnats, hares ears, and royal wulffs did the trick on top. Take the short hike to Betsy lake and throw daredevils for some nice brookies while your up there.
