Did anyone have a yellow stringer stolen at Willow Park? We caught the perpetrator. He must have snuck up and wrapped the stringer around his mouth and then made off with it. What he did not know was that the stringer would get caught on lots on lost hooks on the bottom of the pond and make quite a snag.

Then the perpetrator made a mistake. He dragged the snag over my brother's hook and got it stuck. Then my brother simply reeled in the snag along with him. I included a mug shot of the perpetrator.

He measured 23in. Not bad for a snag!

[#505000]I lost a yellow stringer but that's not the guy. Mine was at Scofield, and the culprit was a big pregnant cutbow. That fat gal took two of her deceased companions with her. [Tongue][/#505000]

[black]Last year a fellow worker and I fished overnight at Bird Island. My fishing companion put several fish on his metal stringer. In the morning most of the fish were missing. The catfish had twisted hard enough to bend open the snaps. Just before we left he found another metal stringer in his tackle box that the snaps all had swivels built in to prevent this from happening.[/black]
