Well, I don't know who here cares, but as of yesterday evening I have caught the biggest White Bass to come out of Devil's Creek in Manitoba[cool]. Previous record was a 17.00" White Bass. I'm now in the process of registering my new 17.25" record. And guess what it bit on? As per my "All time favorite artificial bait" reply, a good old red and white spoon. You can see the standings as of now at the Manitoba Angler Website Records for Devil's Creek: [url "http://www.travelmanitoba.com/huntfish/master_angler_search.html"]http://www.travelmanitoba.com/huntfish/master_angler_search.html[/url]

Last year I caught the 3rd and 4th biggests. Add my 15.5" fish and 17.25" fish from yesterday, and I'm one fish away from getting my White Bass "Specialist" pin (Minimum size is 15" to register, I believe).

Congrats on the new record and way to go. It sounds like the fishing is doing well in your neck of the woods.[cool]

Usualy is, though there are plenty of off days.

We all get days off from time to time. Not enough days off from work but days off from fishing.[pirate]

The fish will always be on their own schedule as far at the bite goes.[cool]

Luckily, there's a fishing spot a few minuits away no matter where you are in Manitoba. Day off work is not always required.
