What are your favorite 3 lures? I am curious if there is a lot of common ground on this one, or if everyone has they're own " lucky lure."

1.Green Jighead w/ 3" white/black curly tail.
2.Rapala Deep shadrap in Tenn Shad.
3.Gold Johnson Spoon Weedless/ w curly tail above.
That would be my 3 best. Of the 3 the Rapala any where I can. I just love crank baits. Cast, Trolled, Cast while trolling.

My favorite lure or lures, would be whatever I'm catching fish on at the time! It just depends on what I am fishing for. I use a lot of soft plastics, in tubes, curl tail grubs, salt sticks, drop shot worms etc.

I think mine would be as follows:
1. Rapala countdown crankbait in a shad pattern.
2. An aglia spinner.
3. Last christmas my daughter gave me a cheap perch patterned lure from wally-world. It's a renegade brand for about $1.97. I have caught several fish everywhere I have used it. The last fish was a 19'' brown trout from Rockport. prior to that a 24 inch carp at echo. Aside from the sentimental value, it has proved to be an effective lure.

My dad says the best three lures are as follows.
#1 Dynamite
#2 Gaffing hook?
#3 Throwing net

I actually have four:
1. What the boat behind me is using
2. What the boat in front of me is using
3. What the boat to the left of me is using
4. What the boat to the right of me is using
Just kidding, I have no favorites other than a relaxing time fishing with the old faithful worm and a bobber. Tried and true for many years and many species. Jigging my own creations would be a strong second.

1st: a #9 jointed rainbow rapala.
2nd:a 3/8 oz orange and hammered brass krockadile
3rd: a treble hook with a big ole hunk of sucker meat on it.
But i have to ask myself ,if thats all i need ,why is my tackle box as big as a suitcase?

I like what is working best for me that day. I have fly fished most of my fishing experience but my fishing buddy fishaddict is slowly changing my ways.
1 Mepps spinner
2 Crawdad
3 Velvetta Cheese (thats how it all started)

Guess this would kind of depend on what you are fishing for, but since I only know how to fish for trout......
I will only name one: Thunderbolt by Acme. Picked one up at KMart on a $1 clearance and have since gone through many, many more. I have caught more fish off that than any other lure I have used EVER.

I'm easy !
My top 3:
1. The lure that worked yesterday.
2. The lure that is working today.
3. The lure that will work tomorrow.

1. 3" White/chartruse tube
2. Size 4 Mister Twister curly tail
3. Rapala Countdown Minnow - Perch

For trout
1. 1/8 or 1/16 oz brown marabou jig
2. #7 floating rainbow rapala, (but also I like the #7 jointed in perch or black and gold)
3. #2 copper mepps, or black and gold panther martin.
I know that's more than 3, but it depends on where I'm fishing. It also depends on the size of the fish present in the river, stream or lake that I am fishing in. No matter what though, I usually start with the jig.
For everything else, depends on where and what I'm fishing for.

1. Blue Fox Vibrax in size #2 or #3. Silver, Copper, Brown Trout patterns.
2. Panther Martin spinners. Silver, Copper, Bummble Bee Patterns.
3. Gitzit Microtube Jigs. Silver body, brown/blue/black head.
Only three kinds of lures I'd have in my tackle box if I didn't pick up lures at places lile Willow Pond.
