I was at Scofield today(7/1/05) and was in the same local on the east side using the same or similiar triplle teasers but had zero success. I was in the 10-15 feet depth with light weight on mono line--used with and w/o crawler--various speeds--etc. Would you please help an old fart.

My friend went up to Scofield this past Wednesday and said the fishing was real slow. He said there was moss every where floating on top of the water. He said sometimes he was reeling in every 2 minutes to clean the moss off of his line.
I know when we were there 2 weeks ago we were not tipping the Teasers with anything. Our set up was very basic and simple. We put an 1/8 oz sliding lead egg sinker above a swivel. Then we put about 3' of leader. The tied a small swivel on the end of the leader and hooker the Teaser onto the swivel. We were not trolling too deep.

[cool]Hey Jand, what is the deepest spot in the lake now that it's pretty much full? Did you have a fishfinder with you? Last ice season the deepest spot we found was only 16 ft. in the channel near the point by the shacks. I'm gonna be crawdadding/bait chuckin' with minnows up there in early evenings around Pioneer Day while camping in Fairview Canyon. Can't wait for that.

We fished up there Friday and Saturday. Friday was ok but would've been better had we gotten down closer to the bottom to where the fish were. Once we figured this out, Saturday was pretty consistent as long as we fished close to the bottom. The fish I marked on the finder were hanging just above the weedlines in about 8 to 12 feet of water. Not many big 'uns, but a LOT of the small rainbow tacos.
