I had a little free time last week in between jobs so I decided I had better use it wisely and fish every chance I get. Our first trip was a night trip to willard, we were targeting Walleye and ended up with only two and about eight wipers with one pushing 5#. We were trolling bouncers in 18-21' of water very slow.
Our second outing was a Musky hunt at Pineview. We launched around 2:00 pm went back to one of our favorite bays and by the fourth cast we were into them we ended up landing 3 and loosing as many. The smallmouth also kept us plenty busy between musky bites. The muskys weren't monsters the largest was around 40 but the average was about 30. We threw mostly inline spinners and a few shad raps. We found most of the Muskys on shallow points with deep water very close. I also hit both lakes again with about the same success later in the week the only thing different was the second outing to willard we found a pretty hungry school of Walleyes that were very willing to take a 1/16oz jig head with a half of a night crawler I think we pulled 6 and only moved about 20 yards the biggest was 23".
All in all it was a great week to get out!!

Good fishing!!! I posted pictures of some of the bigger fish.
