Yes, these rivers are in Wyoming but I had a great fishing/camping trip with my father and brother in north central WY and wanted to post some pictures.

The first day... after about a 2 1/2 mile hike, we caught about 120 trout. The next day was down stream near town and we only caught about 60. The third day, again, was about a 120 fish day... about 30 on the Paint Rock and about 90 on a smaller stream (the Medicine Lodge). The final day did not produce the numbers but the Wind River was being fished for "trophies." We caught about 25 and most were 18-21 inches... the 5lb follows got away! Sad

All fish were released and it was a great time with father and brother.

About how far of a drive is that from SLC? I think someone might be calling in sick to work tomorrow. Those are awful nice looking fish to be produced in numbers like that.

It's about 7 hours my friend... drive to Rock Springs... head NE... up through Thermopolis... further north. Can give more info if serious. [Smile]

Don't be telling people about that Windriver country [Wink] J/K. Looks like you had a great trip. I hope to be able to go on my annual trip soon.

Thanks for the report

You know, I've read posts of people that can't see pics. I thought I did everything right... can you tell me what to do to make them visible?

FYI, I clicked Browse next to the attach, found the pic and clicked "OK." Then I checked "inline" and clicked "Upload."

Help would be appreciated.

OK, maybe I should post a message something to the effect of... "very mossy, moss on almost every cast, 1930 CFS and much, much to swift to wade and extremely hot! Also, walked up on a prairie rattler (I think, maybe timber) coiled and rattlin' and killed it... 6 rattles.

There are a few of us who have problems, usually all you have to do is uncheck the inline box and we will be able to see them just fine, i will pm you my instructions if you want pics in the text that is visable to everyone.

[size 1]Where you went astray was when you checked the Inline box. Inline should only be checked when one is going to post the pictures in the text of the message. If you were to go back and edit your post and remove the Inline check marks then all of us could see your pictures.[/size]

Thanks Kent. I edited and unchecked the "inline." I am sorry for the mistake... I am a "newbie" as evidenced by the "shiner" icon under my name! [Tongue]

Thanks Allen, nice looking fish.

Thanks... and thanks for the advice!

You know, the fish were great but the "special" part was experiencing it with my father and brother! The three of us had a "killer" day on the Provo three or four years back before they re-channeled it but this is the first time we actually "got away" and spent that much time together!

You're welcome and thank you for pointing out the "picture snafu!"
