My brother and I would like to try Strawberry with our tubes tomorrow night after work but have no idea where to try. I have only fished there once, in the winter by the main marina so simple directions to anywhere would be great. Have been reading the reports and most people seem to fish in the morning but night should be alright I guess. Will be using light tackle and bait if that makes any difference on this trip. Any pointers would be great.

[#505000]Fishluvr and I hit Strawberry tonight with the tubes/toons and the best piece of advice I can give you is GO TO SCOFIELD INSTEAD!!!!!!!! [Tongue][/#505000][#505000] The only good thing I have to say about Strawberry is we caught a lot of mudbugs.[/#505000]

If you are set on Strawberry I would go toward Strawberry Bay, and just before you get to the lodge, there is a left hand turn that will take you over the hill and down into Mud Creek. I would find 35-40ft of water. Use a 3" tube jig in white, tip it with a shiner/minnow, night crawler, or even power bait and jig right off the bottom. You should get into some fish.

Going to Scofield isn't a bad idea either, I have herd it has been good.
