Take 21st south or North Temple (I-80) Westbound after you round the mountain(Oquirrh Range) at Highway marker 100 you take the Tooele Exit going south about 2 miles you turn right at the Maverick store.
100 feet you turn left (going south again) proceed 500 yards and take the first right after you have passed a portion of the lake and this road provides several possibalities to access the lake.
App 24 mile total from redwood road.
Not sure about trespass issues since different portions of the lake are owned by different developers of subdivides. LUCK

There are restrictions on the lake you have to be a resident or accompanied by one. I believe you can also purchase a pass at a little store accross from the golf course club house, I'm not sure though.

I purchased a day pass and fished from 3-9:00 and caught about 20 largemouth. All between 1-2.5 pounds accept a monster 5.5 pound 22 inch largemouth.
I tossed senkos then got the senko caught on the mat in one of the coves and had the huge 5.5 pounder hit the senko ontop of the mat as I was retrieving it. After that I worked all the mats with a weedless plastic frog and caught them steadily hopping the frog along the top mat.
What a killer day!
thanks for teh directions.
