Ran up to Straberry this afternoon. Arrived about 4:30 and put the boat in water on the Soldier Creek side. Started trolling a rapala, no luck. Tried a different collored rapala and a krockodile with no luck. My uncle Brent tried a couple a different lures with no luck also. So after about an hour of no action we broke out the old pop gear and a worm. Still no luck. Tried from three to seven colors. Well I decided to try trolling a little faster and whamo fish on. Lipped a 19 inch cutt, quickly released to fight another day. Then my uncle hooked up a nother 19 inch cutt. Then he missed a hit. As he was reeling to reworm the sky open up and added an inch of water to the lake by the time we got off.[cool] Seriously though it went from not even a breeze to a couple foot waves and a good hard cold rain in a couple of minutes. We sat in the truck for a few minutes a decided to call it a day as it looked to have some staying power. Loaded up the boat and came home.

On many occasions at Strawberry I have experienced the same results as you did. Few or no bites while trolling -- kick up the trolling speed and get bites. Often those cutts are only interested if one is trolling faster -- sometimes even over 3 mph (GPS).
