I am glad the weather finally cleared down here so i called my freind in payson and she told me the weather looked good over there. So we decided to hit lincoln.Got there at about 630pm and a few minutes later out4trout showed up.Good seeing again dude .
The wind was blowing and there were white caps so we decoded to fish the drive thru (the channel). About 30 minutes later my freinds from payson showed up and lisa got her first bite.Whatever it was about took her rod into the water
] She had the bail closed so it let go of the bait .A little bit later out4trout scored on a nice mudder. He was a little bigger than the usual mudders so he was going home .Then a bit later lisa started a game of skip rocks with the kids on the other side of the channel and she got another hit on her rod and once again it dropped the bait. Then a bit later she had another hit and it about took her line of the reel because she waas still skipping rocks with the kids.I grabbed the rod and tried to set the hook but it dropped the bait again.Wish i had those hits
] I never got any hits all night ![pirate] Out4trout did score a nice channel way to go dude! [

]Wish the fishing was better . Sam got several hits later that night but since she was in the car she never got a hook set on any fish. The bugs were not that bad i am was really surprised! We ended up staying till 1130pm and no fish but at least we had fun.Out4trout left about the same time so did my freinds and they went home skunked just like us![mad] Seems that fishing has been bad all weekat lincoln so i dont feel that bad.

Thanks for the report. To bad you did'nt get a few of those bites. Seems like they always bite on the pole not be attended. Maybe they stick an eye out of the water too see if there are any unatteneded poles and free meals.[

] better luck next time.

I'll be wading the Provo airport side tonight and I'll let you know how I do. Sorry the fishing wasn't better for you... Hopefully I can pick up a few cats so we know they're still hitting.... Who knows, I may just cruise on down to LB tonight and see whats what. I have a big bag of NASTY thawed out cut bait so if scent is what they're after, they'll get that and then some. Anyway, hope the fishing is alright tonight.... I'll be starting around nineish probably. At least you got out with your kids... funny about the hits on the unattended pole... that started happening to Kasey when I took her out too... she'd be playing with my mutts and get a bite. I think they do stick their heads out and sneak a peek.... [

]. You know, you seem to be quite the catfisherman... I think it would be a lot of fun to fish with somebody who hits the lake as often as you do. Someday maybe.....

Hey RR77 i usually go there after work to release stress. [

] I think the kitties have stayed away because of the boat and jet ski traffic during the weekend and also the wind has been blowing bad all week and the water has been very murky lately more than usual.I will be out there most of this week depending if i do OT or not.You are welcome to join me any time maybe i will learn some of your tactics on kitty fishing you can never learn enough

[cool]Hey ocean, it was great seeing you and your fam again, dude! Thanks for taking the pic. Just got my computer up again (DAMN THOSE VIRUS'S!!!). Glad all my pictures are saved on my other computer and discs packed away in storage. It would suck to lose those.
Anyway, thanks for taking the picture. Last night was slow, but it was great just getting out anyway and fishing, even if the waves were too rough for tubing (at least when I first got there, so the tube stayed in the trunk). I only got two other bites the whole night besides the two that I hooked. The kity krispies were excellent for Sunday dinner today.
Look forward to fishing LB again, but next time from my tube. Hope the big K's are biting even better next time. Good luck to all on your next trip out. Oh yeah, I was having my luck with chub minnows on a 2/0 red Gamakatsu Octopus hook. The didn't have my prefered hooks (Matzuo) at Sportsmans, but the Gamakatsu's are definitely living up to the hype they receive in my book. Very sharp, and tougher than nails!
