made a trip to brownlee dam in ID for crappie...was there friday night and just got home now...went with 3 families and we all caught 3 coolers full of crappie .. they were hitting on just about anything..any colors you name it!!caught a few smallies but nothing big enought o brag about... all crappies were big...an du think willard slabs were huge?? we were catching 1 lb -2 lb crappies

[cool]I read about that place in the latest In-Fisherman magazine. Said to myself that I should get up there someday. How far of a drive is it from the Salt Lake area? Congrats on your successful trip up there!

almost 8 hours...but its wroth the trip..lots of species of fish in that river
