Hit the Airport side for a couple hours after dropping my daughter off in Provo. I had a couple takes but nothing solid. I was just wading the shoreline and while the wind wasn't bad at first, it did pick up around elevenish so I called it a night and went home. No fish to show for the trip..... BUMMER!!! Oh well, I have Friday off this week and so that gives me a three day weekend to try and figure something out. [cool] I think I'm just stubborn enough that I'm going to go back and try to catch the uncooperatives from Sunday. Wish I could get some good fresh carp bait but I don't know how likely that is to happen... may wind up relying on the old nasty stuff again.... Anyway, sorry I dont have a better report but sounds like I'm not the only one the bite was iffy for.

Riley,
Sounds like you need to come up to my country or we need to go to the Snake!![Wink]

You can get some nice fresh carp meat very quickly and very easily right in Provo. Just go to the little pond and/or canal that is on the southeast corner of the novell parking lot (pond) or the canal along the east side of Novell. Just bring a piece of sandwich bread, wad up a small piece onto a hook, push it tight into a ball and cast out. Should take less than 5 minutes to get you one.

Ahhhhh, thank you sir!!! That will be a tremendous help to me. I really appreciate it. Leaky, you are right... we do need to go up and go smallie fishing somewhere..... whether its the snake, Mantua for bass and gills or Pineview for a mess of everything. The whole summers almost over and we have yet to bass fish together anywhere other than Blue Lake.
