[black]Well, I just got off the phone and am now booked for two days on the Gorge with Jim Williams chasing macks in the middle of December. Had quite the conversation with him for close to 45 minutes about how his operation works, what I should expect and even got screened to see if I was the type to go fishing in December on the Gorge. Guess I passed the test, we're going! Should be a fun trip chasing and learning more about stickin' a hook in those wily Flaming Gorge mackinaw! I'm stoked![/black]

you will have a great time, Jim told me that he has a few guys come in dec. every year for like the last 5 years or so and they get some big ones. one word, pay close attention to the hook set technique, it makes a big differance let me tell you. good luck, hope you bang a big one. later chuck

JIM IS THE MAN ON STICKIN... HE HAS SOME KIND OF PHONE SIDE MANNER. LOL HE IS INTENCE. THAT SCREENING PROCESS WORKS WELL FOR HIM. IF YOU CANT TAKE THE HEAT STAY OUT OF HIS KITCHEN. GLAD YOU PASSED THE TEST... ENJOY YOUR TRIP. GET A HOG...

Hey BLM-

You'll have a great time! I just got back from there. Fished two and a half days over the weekend - only 2 fish for me - a 21 lb. and a 10 lb. One of our mutual friends was there and caught a few more, but over all it was slow.
