Fished Flaming Gorge in Utah over the weekend. The fish are already moving into their spawning areas and it's difficult to get the bigger fish to hit. I only caught 2 fish over 3 days, but they were 21# and 10#. My buddy landed one small fish and broke off a big fish right before I hooked my 21#, so there are a few biters around if you're persistent.

Don't you wish Granby still had lots of fish like this?

From my house in Highlands Ranch to the boat ramp at Lucerne Marina is 405 miles - all of it either 4 lane or very good 2 lane road. I go up through Laramie, across Wyoming on I-80, and then back south for 45 miles at Green River. I've done it going west on I-70 and then northwest through Meeker, Dinosaur and Vernal, but it's no quicker.
