[red][size 3]I'm planning a trip to the Gorge and was wondering how the Sheep Creek area was for launching? I enjoy the boat in campgrounds in the neighborhood but have always put the boat in at Lucerne or Cedar Springs. Is the ramp decent? Is there a decent place to leave your rig for a few days while out playing? Is there any other fee or just the usual area pass good enough? Any benefit putting in there or should I just stick with Lucerne? It looked like a shorter trip on the water to haul all of the camping gear to Hideout and such. Many Thanx for your help! It has a good ramp only 3 wide but it isn't very busy. I have never seen a wait at that ramp. It has a big parking lot and you just have to pay the normal use fee. I park there every time I stay at hideout, sometimes for a week at a time and I have never had a problem. It is a lot closer than lucerne. Only a few minutes from hideout.

If I wamted to go to hideout area I wouldn't launch at luserne just because If you have to go thru that narrows near kingfisher it's wakeless speed for a vary long distance, seemed like it took me about an hour to get thru it.
