Started out by making some very large circles near the feedlot with no action. That lasted for an hour and we decided to head for the Southwest corner an[/size][/red][/font][font "Arial Black"][red][size 3]d work our way out to the lightpole. [/size][/red][/font]
[font "Arial Black"][#ff0000][size 3] It wasn't a very good night to be out fishing at least for us, as we never got a bite the whole time. Around 8:30pm we decided to call it quits for the night, I removed the fuel line from the kicker to let it run out and just as the kicker stopped my son caught a nice 3-4 lb wiper about 19 inches . We were half way to the SW corner after a great fight we figured that we had better call it a day and left. So no Skunk today, but it was very close. Marked lots of fish just not a lot of action. [/size][/#ff0000][/font]
[font "Arial Black"][#ff0000][size 3] The water temp was 78 degrees and we were trolling in 15-17 ft of water. I was using a White and Blueback Producer with RED hooks and my son was using a Rattling Rapala in Shad colors. We were trolling at 2.5 - 3.0 mph. [/size][/#ff0000][/font]

Thanks for the report Dan, I wonder if the slow catching has anything to do with the full moon. Did you try fishing with any shallow running lures? Did you see any surface activity?

[red][size 3] [font "Arial Black"][red]Hi Curtis , not much in surface activity a few birds acting like there was a boil , but I didn't see anything happening. Yes, I do think that The full Moon has something to do with it. My lures were only running about 3-9 feet deep.[/red][/font][/size][/red]
