I scanned these old photos the other day from prints that I took a few years ago. These are me fishing on different occasions from the pipe at the bubble-up when the water was a bit lower than it is this year.

A decent bullhead catfish.

Ugghh. Who said this guy could bite the worm?

Approx. a 3 lb. channel who went back to swim another day. One thing I noticed that I thought was interesting was the water on each side of the pipe. One side is calm (protected by the pipe from the wind) while the other side is a bit choppy.

This last one is my little sister who I love going fishing with, and her small Channel cat.

My biggest cat ever is a 10 lb. Channel that I caught in the middle of the day off the Provo Airport dike about 7 years ago. I caught it off a worm hanging about 5 feet below a bobber in a deeper channel (canal) that runs through the trees just south of the Provo River inlet. That area is almost dry still this year. It'll take a couple more feet to fill that area up again.

Can you still see a part of the pipe,so you can get your bearings for finding a fishing spot? Nice pics by the way!

There are buoys out there that mark where the pipe is so that boats don't run over it and damage it or their props. Some might have broken loose, but there for sure is a buoy at the end of the pipe where the bubbles/water come out.
