Went to Trial Lake tuesday evening and wednesday. It was sure cold tuesday night, 28. Once the sun was up it warmed up nicely. Tuesday just fished from the shore with a jakes spin a lure. Caught fish on about every 4th cast. Wednesday, went out in my toon, fished with a woolly bugger, at a slow troll. Knocked them died. caught over 50 fish before noon, was a little slower in the afternoon. Most were 12-13 inch, some 16 and some 8-10. What a wonderful day! They were sure fighters with light line. My arm was real sore the next day.

sounds like a great trip.

i've lived here for 2 years and keep meaning to get up in that area
and spend some time hiking and camping and fishing. Last year i spent most of my leisure time in the larger mountain lakes (mainly Scofield). This year i've been fishing Willard bay almost exclusively. There are just so many places to go in this area, it's tough to decide sometimes.
I moved here from NM where there's no water! I love it here...so many species and so many bodies of water to choose from.
