I took my kid and my dad out to willard this morning.
Fishing was decent.
We got bit on a wide range of lures.
Lipless cranks, jointed rapalas, medium range cranks, the usual.

The wind sucked big time and made boat control a pain, but we only managed one tangle so I am pretty happy with that.

around 12:00 the waves got to be about 3 ft over by the north marina and made the run back interesting.

You gotta love pitching and rolling through the troughs at 40 mph.
Its the slamming down in the bottom of one that gets ya.

But hey, thats what suspension seats are for right?

Thanks for posting your report Mike. It's rare to see a Willard report from you now days, but I'm glad to see you haven't given up on it. We were also out there today and road out the waves. It finally settled down around 1pm and thats when the catching began.
