[#505000]Ok I'm a little slow on getting the pictures resized but here they are. when I die this is where I will end up. I have a feeling I'm going to ruffle the feathers of the Cabelas fans so I will just say Cabela's rocks, but Bass Pro has an over all better displays. All in all it's hard to compare cool to cool so on with the pics!!![/#505000]

God's Country!!!!!

Theses are part of what you see in the entryway.......

[inline "Partial entryway.jpg"]

[inline "partial entryway1.jpg"]

Here is the "Main" aquarium. There is also a trout aqarium and a HUGE salt water aquarium where every hour on the hour they have a mermaid show.

[inline "main aquarium.jpg"]

The main aquarium above has a neat little waterfall going into it. Above the aqarium on the 2nd floor is the gun section. The area of blue sky at the top is on the vaulted ceiling above the gun counter.

Part of the clothing section.....

[inline bears.jpg]

Inside near the registers is this cool fighting elk display....

[inline "elk wars.jpg"]

To the right of the elk is the fishing section. I couldn't get a wide enough shot of the section so ya'll will have to live with partials.....

[inline "fishing roof.jpg"]

[inline "partial fishing sectoin.jpg"]

Throughout the store there are several streams and waterfalls......

[#505000]I have a bunch more pics but I though I would share some of the better ones with you. I wish I had the time and camera equipment to really show you what the store looked like. If any of you ever get a chance to visit a Bass Pro Shop do it!!![/#505000]

Nice pics. Looks like a great store. I will have to make sure to stop in if I'm ever in the neighborhood of one. I had no idea this store existed until recently. Thanks for sharing..

You didn't tell me you were moving to vegas to be a showgirl! I guess you need the money to support your fishing habit!

[#505000]Ya especially after I got involved in pouring my own jigs!!!! I've spent over $400 on supplies and I'm not finished getting what I want/need yet. It's kinda like getting hooked on drugs!! When I get the rest of the hooks in I ordered I'll make and send you some stuff. [/#505000]
[#505000][/#505000]
[#505000]I'll tell you what Ryan you should see my high kicks. I'm the prettiest girl in the line (fishnet stockings and all, just ignore the hairy legs underneath). They keep yelling at me for plucking the ostrich feathers out of my cap and trying to tie flies with em. [Tongue][/#505000]
[#505000][/#505000]
[#505000]I think the only thing more disturbing than me being a show girl in Vegas is the fact you thought of me being a show girl in Vegas!!!!! It's a good thing you moved to Alaska I would otherwise be forced to kill you if I caught you looking at my legs!!! [cool][/#505000]

[#505000]Now we just sit back and hope Tubedude doesn't have an vein pop in his head from us "pushing the limits" of this family friendly forum!!! Although, if he does I know where he keeps his tackle making gear!!!!! [blush][/#505000]

bass pro is a sweet place. i live in vegas and make as many trips to bass pro as many times a month as my wallet will let me[Wink]. i came up to s.l.c. for the cabelas opening day in august and thought it was a great place also. they each have their pros and cons depending what you are looking for. if you want a large variety of fishing or boating supplies(including boats themselves) then you want bass pro hands down. but hunting, camping and outfitting gear cabelas holds its own. either way i say ya can't go wrong. enjoy what each store has to offer. i for one intend to frequent them both, wallet willing that is[angelic]
