I am just wondering if anyone has been to Lost creek lately? If so I am going tonight and was just wondering what is working, I will be fishing from a boat thanks guys.

I haven't heard much about it lately. If HFT (James) doesn't chime in, you might want to give him a call over at Hooked Fishing Tackle. He usually knows what is working on the local waters. He's always very helpful as well. Good luck, and let us know how you do.

The last time I was there folks were wsing power bait with good success. I was using a sinking fly line and woolly buggers from a pontoon boat. I had to get the line down deep into the water to find the bigger fish. We were fishing around the ramp and upstream to the East of the ramp. Little success was reported by the dam.
The reservoir is full of fish and they should take about anything that you troll with. Keep your speed down and let your line go deep.

Well I went last night and I was really upset to find out that they changed the closing of the gate to 8:00pm so I only got 3 hours of fishing in but we did pretty good. We actually caught some good sized fish last night I was really impressed because usually they are just small ones that are still fun to catch. We realeased everything we caught but between three of us in three hours we boated 23 fish just trolling it was a good night but when it started to get really hot we had to be off of the water. Oh well what can you do.

Govt employees! Why close the gate at all. I have never fished Lost Creek but Jordanelle drives me grazy, in the morning the sun is well on its way up before any gets there to open the gate. I fish it in the middle of the week and I hear its better on the weekend but who wants to fish with the power squadron.
