Cool [cool] you need to come just so you get that "prefish" for yours. Is yours open to anyone and how much? and is it a buddy? one of these day we need to get together, I've call a few times but you weren't home.

Mine is a "buddy" tournament ... the guy you sign up with is the guy you fish with. cost: 110.00 per team with a 20.00 big fish entry.
check the site for more details.
the 8th is a saturday. I am looking for a boater right now as well.
I have never fished Mantua ... It's gonna be a great one!

for the tournament what are the rules? is it 1 over 12inchs and 5 under 12 inches? Are we going to release all the fish we catch. If we are on shore what do we do with are fish. do we get them sized and weighed then throw them back? If you can p.m. me and tell me all the rules that would be awesome.

OK so you know.to be in the tournament you need to fish from a boat with a livewell. no shore fishing. But If you dont have a boat its cool. because what we do is take all the non-boaters names put them in a hat and the guys with the boats draw a name out and the person is the partner. 99.9% of the time we have boats for all or to many boats to have 2 people on a boat. how this tournament will work for the regs up there is called a paper tournament were you right down all the fish over 12" on a card then at the weigh-in we add up your 5 biggest. to beable to write your fish down you have to have your partner weigh the fish and say it was ok.
If you have a dig scale to bring that helps. "were a poor club so far and are working on get some.

This is both a paper and weigh-in tournament. because of the regs up there we can only keep 1 fish over 12" so how I'm going to do it is just like any paper tournament would run, BUT you must bring in your biggest fish to the weigh-in so they all can be on the same scale, plus so we can get pics of them all.
Hope you can make it. If you can bring some of your beavers to show off. I've got a few from you and love them, and showed some to some of the guys. love the pees and carrots.

You can legally have 4 fish in the boat with 2 anglers. Hence the team format.
4 fish weigh-in.
