Fished Fri night from about 5 - 8 p.m. from shore. Used a perch deceiver on my fly rod, and tossed small, medium and large rapalla's, and a number of large spinners on my musky rod. No hits.
A number of boats were trolling, with one boat reporting one small mouth.

Do the musky feed aggresively during the late fall. Or does the cold weather slow down there bite. I thinking of going up there next week if they bite thru the fall, Or would I be better of to wait till spring to try and catch my first musky.

I agree with OldCoot. I have fished pineview for many years, my experience is you start picking them up in late April when the water hits the low 50's but it is not very productive. May can be slow but you can still get afew. Mid June through July is the best then in August it slows down. In September they start hitting again but nothing like it was in June and July. October thru march is the toughest months, you can get them but it is tough.

I have done well from end of april in warm years through the end of september. With the water geing colder, and the fish being less aggressive, I would downsize your offering a little.

The Musky do bite this time of year, and agressively. One of the best features of the fall fishing is there is very little pressure. The tigers are often within 10 feet of shore.
By all means, try the fall fishing for tigers. The summers are the most active times, but the lake is also a zoo with all the boats.
