[cool][#0000ff]I have been going through a lot of my saved links and exploring some of the buttons and side options. One of the things I discovered in my archives was an online calculator that will work to compute the weight of almost any species of any size.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Interesting that they suggest that the length measurement be taken only to the fork in the tail...rather than the "pinch" method advocated by DWR.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]This is really simple to use. You just click on the species (or similar), enter the length and girth and then click on "calculate". The weight will automatically appear in pounds. There is also a metric conversion chart.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I plan to keep this on my desktop, to double check the "stats" provided on BFT posts. No longer will I believe that a 19" rainbow weighed 6 pounds.[/#0000ff]
