My oldest son and I hit the Berry for two solid days of fishing. We had great sucess both days casting and trolling small white tube jigs tipped with crawler. We also caught a few nice fish along the weed beds throwing a white minnow that skimmed the surface when you reeled it in. We caught 65 fish Thursday and 63 fish Friday. Two of them were over the slot at 23" and everything else was in the slot except for 4 rainbows. Most of the fish we caught casting jigs were suspended over deeper water. We just let the jig sink about five seconds and then jigged it back to the boat. The fog on Friday was thicker than anything I have ever been in. Thank goodness I had marked the spot on my GPS on Thursday or we might still be out there looking for the marina.

I also fished Thursday and Friday. I was glad I turned my GPS unit on Thursday to track where I went. It was helpful in finding my way around the lake Friday morning. I wish I had found your hot spot you caught a lot more fish than we did. Were you one of the several group in the campground over night?

I fish friday, from shore and didn't get anything not even a bite. But that's just my luck with Strawberry I have yet to catch a fish there. It's a good thing Deer Creek in on the way back home I stopped there and caught two bows. Some day I'll get that Strawberry jinx off my back.
