Finally- It's nice to see weather reports that are encouraging for us hard water diehards. Lows in the low 30's in SLC all week, with lower temps in the high country!!

Those core temps should start dropping and maybe we will be fishing soon.

'Bout dang time! Looks like the weather monkeys are now saying lows in the upper 20's down here. Nice.

[cool]Excellent!! Scofield is probably outta the question for T-Day, but I don't think that Hunington will be. With it getting down to the mid 20's this week in the valley (according to ch.2 tonight), it should be getting close to zero (or maybe below?) up there. A guy from my work was going up to Scofield to his cabin to bring down his boat for the winter, so I'll ask him how cold it was, snow, etc.

Just got to work and there is 2-3" of snow at Jordanelle and 30* temp at 8:00 a.m. and will get colder all week.

I have in the past hated cold weather and the ugly white stuff.... Until last year when CBR, Out4trout, Mateo, Fairwayphilly and others got me addicted to the hard water. In return my whole family is excited to go and have been talking about it all summer long.
I ever had a thought so stealing a truck of liquid nitrogen just to help rockperch to freeze up ( by the way that was a joke maybe).
Every year before last I would get all depresssed when father winter whould come. Now i think it is not coming soon enough.... I wish for christmas this year is to be able to ice fish utah lake by Dec.31st. Oh I am used to my wishes not comeing true. Anyways that was my 2 cents.
