I would have to say the "Qualifier 105" . Without a doubt, the best fishing platform I have ever fished on. Great boat, great captain(s), great galley, great crew, very cold beer, extremely comfortable state rooms, and good friends and fisherman. All these make for a great fishing trip always on the Q-105!!!!

Milo

Killer?

The Excell, the '"105", the Rooster, the Polaris-take you pick, take your wife, your son, daughter or neighbor and not only ride, sleep and shower in style. . . but, you will wack the monster tuna, eat like a king and sleep like a baby. Most importantly, you will forget about nearly everything else.

The Shogun and Searcher for shorter, "long-range trips". . . big fish, great crews and the same "de riguer" amnesia.

Try the Thunderbird out of Newport, The Prowler out of San Diego, or the Electra out of Oceanside for the one day's.

Roger Sheaks
Personally, I like the Sea Spray out of Redondo for a 3/4 day. The captain and crew are knowledgable and personable. Have never had a bad day fishing on their boat.

Also would have to agree with the Aztec at Pierpoint landing. Enjoyed my experience and the effort of the captain to find the fish.
