You can certainly tell it's getting close to christmas. People are really getting testy with some posts lately. On a different note, I noticed James has started his clearance sale at Hooked. Might be the time to stock up on all the goodies we'll need to sustain ourselves through this years ice fishing season. Maybe if we all buy ourselves some new lures or fishing poles, we won't be so grumpy. Does anyone know if the waters around Malad or Evanston has turned hard yet? They are usually pretty early.

I haven't been there yet. I recieved the notice in the mail yesterday. "Everything up to 50% savings until gone. " I'm headed down in the morning with the plastic.

There was a decent sized crowd when I was there at noon today. It looks like everything is a minimum of 15% off throughout the store. Better get some Buggers and Whatta Crickets before they're all gone!!!

Holy Shiite !! Don't call Hooks .... go in person. I just spent way more than I intended just to insure I got the color and size I wanted. You notice I said "wanted" and not "needed" ! Then there are all the things you just happen to think of .........
But isn't that the way with any tackle shop? Even if they don't have things that are going to dissapear and are now selling for 15 to 50 percent off .... tractor payment will just have to wait.
